There is so much hype around this healthy smoothie diets and drinks that we simply can’t stay away from it. Truth be told we love milkshakes almost as much as we love cheese 🙂 (yes, odd comparison).
We have decided to start with the easiest recipe of smoothie there is….because as you might as well know by now we are far from pretending that we are some skilled master chefs …at least not yet. So we randomly picked some fruit and some milk and started mixing away just to see what would happen.
Fast and easy – our kind of “cooking”
- Servings: 2
- Preparation time: 5 minutes
- one big ripe banana
- 2 tbs berries
- 250 ml cold milk
Instructions Banana Berry Milkshake
1st step: Place it all in a blender
Simple enough? We think it is. Slice the banana and throw it in the blender or the food processor, add the berries on top and let the milk join the party.
2nd step: Watch it become a real Banana Blueberry Milkshake
Press that start button and blend it all until the mixture looks creamy and there are no lumps left. You can adjust the thickness of the milkshake my adding some more milk or water over and blending again.
3rd step: Enjoy your energy in a jar
You don’t really need a jar mug to enjoy the shake but we really do love our jar mugs :). Just drink up and remember that you can go will adding to this mix any kind of fruit your heart desires…there are no limits.
